Today I hit the big 3-0. Happy Birthday to me!
I’ve sort of been celebrating my birthday for the past couple of weeks. I saw Lady Antebellum at the Ryman, went to see Remember Me, and went car shopping with Kristi and Earl. None of that was officially “birthday” stuff, but pretty much the entire month of March is all about me. I’ve also received some gifts and had a mom-cooked meal. Today, I’m going on a mini road trip with Sherry and Nikki to do some shopping. And then tomorrow will be the annual trip to Olive Garden since the one in BG is STILL not open yet.
I have a confession…I suffer from a condition called “spring fever.”
Most of the time, I can keep it under control. Other times I am so anxious for it to be warm, that I go a little crazy. Here are a couple of examples:

My mom always says that what you do on the first day of the year is what you will do for the rest of the year. So here’s what I did:
Kristi and I have arrived at Opry Mills for our second annual midnight shopping. We hope to find some good deals, and we’ll definitely have fun. More updates to come as long as long as I can stay awake.
Update 10:20 am — We got an hour of sleep before starting in BG at 4:30. Pam has joined us, and we have just two more stops to make. I’m ready for a nap!
