Hilltopper Hysteria
Basketball season has arrived!
Way back when I was a student at WKU, my mom bought me some snow boots so I’d be prepared for walks up the hill in the snow. I think I wore them one time. They’re not the sexiest piece of footwear, and we never have that much snow to bother with them.
Fall has arrived in BG, KY, and I can’t say I’m excited. It doesn’t help that a few short weeks ago, I was on the beach working on my tan. Now I’m wearing layers and spending my nights wondering if it’s too soon to turn my heat on.

Two Tuesdays in a row with new music. How did I get so lucky?
Last Tuesday, I bought cradlesong by Rob Thomas. Now I may be a little biased, but I think it’s awesome. So far, my favorites are … well it would be easier to say that I usually skip over “Gasoline” and “Snowblind.” Neither are bad songs, but I’m usually in a hurry to get to my two favorite songs: “Give me the meltdown” and “Wonderful”.

Tomorrow, Kristi and I are having our second attempt at our annual yard sale. Last Saturday, it rained so we decided to cancel. Of course, we weren’t 100% sure it was going to rain. So who came back from a week in Cleveland for training and stayed up until 1am to price her crap only to get up at 5 the next morning to the sound of rain? This girl, that’s who.
I have a confession…I suffer from a condition called “spring fever.”
Most of the time, I can keep it under control. Other times I am so anxious for it to be warm, that I go a little crazy. Here are a couple of examples:
