Last night was the Dierks Bentley concert at Diddle. It was great and we all had a good time. I was a little disappointed that he didn’t sing my favorite song off the new cd, Trying to Stop Your Leaving, but you can’t have everything. Miranda Lambert was really good. She has a lot of attitude and really gets into what she’s singing. I liked the new songs that she did.

Kristi and I thought it was kind of weird that we were at a concert here. There was no stopping at tiger mart for some caffeine to help us drive back or going to a hotel and ordering pizza. We just went home. I could probably talk her into more concerts if they were here, so maybe WKU will start having more.

I took some pictures, but they are on Kristi’s camera so I’ll have to get them from her before I can post them. I had problems with them being blurry – I have a hard time standing still. Maybe my next camera will have the anti-shake protection or whatever it’s called on it. (hint, hint for anyone wanting to buy me a Christmas present :-) )

Speaking of Christmas, my next concert will be Martina McBride’s Joy of Christmas show in Nashville at the end of November. That will definitely put me in the Christmas spirit.

I love these shuffle surveys. This one determines the soundtrack to the movie of your life.
Here’s how it works:
- Open your music player (iTunes, Winamp, Media Player, etc).
- Put it on shuffle.
- Press play.
- For every question type the song that’s playing.
- When you go to a new question press the next button.
- Add your results in the comments section

Today is Kristi’s birthday so it’s all about her today. Of course, it’s been all about her this past weekend and will continue to be all about her this week as her birthday celebration continues. Don’t bother asking how old she is today. She will give you a number that is mathematically impossible considering how old I am and the number of years that should be between our ages. :-)

Today is also the birthday of someone named “Kerrie.” Coincidence? Or is “Kerrie” Kristi’s alias? Hmmmm……

Have a wonderful day, Kristi!

New pictures are up from my Chattanooga trip. You can see them here. We had a lot of fun at the Tennessee Aquarium, Rock City and Ruby Falls. We did some shopping too and I was able to find some jeans and the Eiffel Tower lamp I have wanted ever since I worked at target. So the trip was a success!

So what else is going on…the fall tv season has started. Grey’s Anatomy is awesome. I’m going to try and keep up with Lost this season. I was able to catch up on season 2 thanks to Matt. Desperate Housewives bores me. As far as new shows, I’ve watched Studio 60 (Chandler Bing!), 6 degrees, Brothers & Sisters, Heroes, The Nine and Ugly Betty. The Nine and Ugly Betty are the best so far. Heroes is kind of strange, but I’ll probably keep watching for a while at least just because Greg Grunberg is in it.

Next week is The Fray concert in nashvegas. It’s at the Ryman so that should be fun.
