After Clay kicked my butt in aerobics last night, I was so tired when I went home that I fell asleep watching 24. I saw the first 5 minutes of it to see them cover up Tony’s body :-( and that’s about it. I did see the end where some chick said she was getting her information from Audrey.  Is everybody bad on this show?

So I went to bed early, but I still feel like I could sleep for 24 hours. The weather is not helping.  I need some caffeine!

As you can see, I’m trying a new theme. Let me know what you think, but keep all comments about Kenny’s picture to yourself.

Speaking of Kenny, I will see him and the other two people pictured above (Dierks Bentley and Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland) in six days in Lexington. I can’t wait.

I had a pretty good birthday weekend. I spent Friday with Sherry, Stacy and Mallory. We did some shopping and drove around looking at houses. It reminded me of the old days when Sherry and I worked at Target. We would go pick up our checks on Friday (that was before we learned about direct deposit) and then go shopping or driving around. Saturday, I went to Nashville with Kristi and Earl. We ate at Olive Garden and then went to Opry Mills. Sunday, they came over for lunch and to watch the UK game.

Today is supposed to be the first day of spring but it is raining and cold. Boo!

My birthday celebration continues….

Mar 17

It’s friday and I’m taking the afternoon off.  If only it was a little warmer outside, the day would be perfect.

I’m going to lunch with Sherry and Stacy today. After Sherry’s comments yesterday about the real university of Kentucky, I’ll have to spend the entire time telling her how UK will get beat today by UAB. She’s probably brainwashing Mallory with stories of how UK is the best team.  :-)

Of course, it’s hard to stick up for a team that has spelling mistakes on their jerseys.

I was 0-2 in my predictions last night.

Melissa was sent home on American Idol. Kevin and Bucky weren’t even in the bottom 3.

emotadub.gifSouth Carolina beat WKU by 19. Western made a comeback in the second half to get within 6, but Winchester got his fourth foul and went out of the game long enough for SC to take over. That was the last game for Elgrace Wilborn and Anthony Winchester.  I’ll miss watching Grace’s awesome dunks and blocks. I’ll especially miss watching Anthony shoot threes, blow on his hands before free throws and discussing his JBF hair with Kristi. With him gone, someone else will have to bring the prettiness to WKU basketball next season.

Speaking of pretty, Darrin Horn really rocks that pinstripe suit he had on last night.

A couple of links for you:

If you’re giving me money for my birthday, I accept this form of mastercard.

Riverstages is no more and now this.
